I am a composer and accordionist based in London.

I completed my Master's in Composition at Birmingham Conservatoire, studying with Andrew Hamilton. I also took lessons from Michael Wolters, Joe Cutler and Howard Skempton.

My music has been performed in Holland, Poland, London, Wells, and many venues across Birmingham: concert halls, pubs, roadsides, living rooms and a basement. I have written for Decibel Ensemble, Orkest de Ereprijs, the Eblana Trio, Via Nova, Le Page Ensemble and many others.

In May 2016 I performed in a piece co-composed with Luke Deane at Amsterdam’s Orgelpark, as part of the Composers' Festival. Our piece, Returning Odysseus, is a point-of-view realisation of Monteverdi’s opera Il Ritorno d’Ulisse in Patria, comprising seven musicians, live video tracing a journey across the stage, a 100-metre scroll-score, a singing WWII air-raid siren, and bone-percussion.

I am also active as a performer, commissioning composers to write music for my ongoing project, Paul Zaba's Accordion Songbook. I gave the first concert of this project at the Prince of Peckham in June 2018, featuring songs written by eleven composers, including seven world premieres. In 2019 I will perform Vol. 2, giving concerts in Amsterdam, Birmingham and London.
